Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Director of Facilities Engineering to lead maintenance, operations, and control of the hospital campus and affiliated centers in Indianapolis. You will oversee large capital projects, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and drive life-safety initiatives across Community North Hospital, Heart/Vascular Hospital, Surgery Center and Cancer Center.

The role requires 10+ years in healthcare facilities management, a relevant degree, and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in facilities/engineering-related field.
• CHFM certification preferred but not required.
• 10+ years of healthcare facilities management experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance, operations, and control of the hospital campus and related facilities.
• Oversee large capital projects and long-term growth planning across multiple centers.
• Ensure regulatory, insurance, and accrediting compliance for buildings and systems.
• Lead life-safety initiatives and coordinate with hospital leadership on capital investments.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets to support high-quality patient care.
