Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Regional Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance operations across facilities in the Indianapolis area. The role involves supervising maintenance teams, planning services, and ensuring safety standards are met to provide residents with a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

The position emphasizes leadership, hands-on maintenance, and collaboration with facilities to address Health and Life Safety deficiencies while driving personnel development

Qualifications

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory or management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Make general maintenance repairs at assigned facilities.
• Mentor, train, and support property maintenance personnel.
• Plan and organize maintenance services to create a safe, attractive living environment.
• Assist properties in correcting State Board of Health and Life Safety deficiencies.
• Hire, train, and ensure retention of qualified staff to provide services and maintain hazard-free, sanitary environments.
