Job summary

Advanced Integration Technology, LP is seeking an Electrician and Controls Field Engineer for 100% travel with remote work capabilities. The role focuses on installation, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring, panels and equipment, plus troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs and CNC interfaces.

The position demands deep electrical knowledge, blueprint literacy and hands-on experience with control systems. Excellent safety, documentation and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrable track record as an industrial electrician.
• Technician Certification or Associate degree in a related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree, PE, SSE in electrical/manufacturing/mechanical engineering preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years and/or equivalent experience in PLC and HMI configuration and debugging in industrial HV maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, panels, equipment and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs and numerical controls; support automation systems.
• Manage start-up/shutdown procedures per safety and OSHA requirements.
• Develop procedures to assess material requirements and repair issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps, root causes and corrective actions.
