Job summary

Shermco Industries is seeking a Remote Project Manager, Field Services to lead electrical project work across testing, startup and data collection. The role blends field duties with remote coordination, supporting customers from Omaha and beyond.

You will supervise crews, manage safety, track budget, and partner with Sales for quotes, while ensuring quality and on-time project delivery in a high voltage environment up to 500kV.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years managing electrical maintenance shutdowns or switchgear projects.
• Field-based electrical service project experience (50% field time).
• Ability to estimate and quote jobs with sales support.
• Knowledge of safety standards and electrical procedures.
• NETA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical service projects from planning to data collection.
• Spend at least half of time in the field on site jobs.
• Coordinate estimating and quoting with sales and customers.
• Assign crew members to tasks and supervise execution.
• Interface with customers and provide progress updates.
• Identify opportunities for expanded scope and new work.
• Monitor budget and review technician time/material costs.
• Conduct final job walk and ensure successful startup.
• Rotate on‑call duty and respond to emergencies promptly.
