Job summary

OpenTrain AI, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering AI Evaluation Expert to craft realistic engineering problems and assess AI-generated technical content. This project-based contract spans power systems, semiconductors, chip design, embedded systems, DSP, and RF, with feedback guiding better model reasoning and practical constraint handling.

The role is remote, part-time, and flexible, allowing independent work at your pace. Compensation goes up to $120 per hour for completed tasks.

Qualifications

At least two years of hands-on electrical engineering industry experience.
An MS or PhD in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering, or a BS in electrical engineering with strong industry experience.
Demonstrated depth in power systems, microgrids, high-voltage engineering, semiconductors, chip design, EDA, embedded systems, DSP, or RF.
Strong written communication, careful attention to detail, and independent judgment.
Current residence in the United States.

Responsibilities

Develop expert-level engineering problems and scenarios grounded in real design, testing, and field work.
Review AI-generated responses for technical accuracy and practical feasibility.
Judge whether responses align with how electrical engineering work is performed in practice.
Provide structured written feedback that identifies issues and supports improved model performance.
Complete project tasks independently at a flexible pace in a remote, asynchronous setting.
