Job summary

Wilson Engineers in Tempe, AZ seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer (PE) to join our electrical/energy team. The role focuses on design of low and medium voltage systems, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting, and control schematics, for water and wastewater projects.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of EI&C design experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and a PE license (AZ preferred). Remote work options are available as part of a flexible, high-growth firm.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering is required.
• P.E. license is required – AZ preferred.
• Minimum of three years electrical and industrial controls experience in Water/Wastewater.
• Experience producing EI&C contract drawings in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design low/medium voltage power distribution systems and create diagrams and plans.
• Perform electrical calculations: load, sizing, voltage drop, fault current.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, field inspections, start-up and commissioning.
• Lead power system studies and arc flash studies; model with SKM if applicable.
• Read P&IDs and control descriptions; collaborate with engineers and designers.
