Job summary

Wilson Engineers, a respected Arizona-based engineering firm, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer (PE) to join the Tempe, AZ office. The role offers opportunities on water and wastewater projects, with potential remote work. Requires 3+ years in electrical and industrial controls for Water/Wastewater and EI&C drawings in AutoCAD.

compensation ranges 150k-180k per year, with full-time benefits and room for growth within a collaborative, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university or college is required.
A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required – preferably in Arizona.

Responsibilities

Proficient in the design of low and medium voltage power distribution systems with single-line diagrams, panel schedules, power plans, and lighting plans.
Proficient in electrical calculations: circuit load summaries, breaker sizing, voltage drop, and fault current.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; read and interpret P&IDs and control descriptions.
Conduct construction shop drawing reviews, RFIs, field inspections, start-up and commissioning.
Lead and review power system studies, arc flash studies; model with SKM when applicable.
