Job summary

Parsons is seeking Electrical Engineers to support a nationwide FAA infrastructure program. The role combines electrical design, power distribution analysis, field investigations, and construction support at FAA facilities, radar sites, airports, and active construction locations across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of electrical design/field engineering experience.
• Experience with electrical site surveys, design verification, and existing-condition documentation.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA/IEEE and federal/state/local requirements; ability to travel 20–25% nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical site surveys, field investigations, measurements, and condition assessments.
• Develop and review electrical designs, diagrams, layouts, specifications, and construction documents.
• Design and evaluate medium- and low-voltage systems including switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, and grounding.
• Coordinate solutions with clients, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project deliverables; support construction and commissioning activities.
