Olsson seeks a licensed Electrical Engineer to join our Federal Engineering & Design Team. You will perform standard electrical engineering work, adapt designs per federal requirements, and deliver constructible, code-compliant solutions within project constraints.

As part of Olsson’s Federal Engineering & Design Team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to serve national interests. Flexible work arrangements, including remote options, are available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with project teams.
• Solid problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
• Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, federal standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical engineering duties for evaluation, design, and documentation of electrical systems for federal projects.
• Develops constructible, code-compliant designs and proposes minor adaptations as needed.
• Prepares electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinates electrical design elements with other disciplines and internal teams.
• Communicates project progress with project managers and federal clients.
