Atlantic Constructors is seeking an Electrical Designer - Modular Manufacturing to join our engineering team. This role focuses on electrical, instrumentation and controls design for capital projects and modular builds, ensuring safe operations and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with operations, fabrication, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable power and control systems. Ideal candidates have a degree in electrical discipline and 5+ years design experience, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Electrical, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent science degree
• 5+ years of related experience in a Design/Manufacturing Engineering role
• 5+ years of Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls installation experience
• Advanced knowledge of API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.
• Creates solutions to complex, non-routine problems and provides recommendations to management

Responsibilities

• Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls design for Capital Projects
• Create client issue drawings and detailed fabrication drawings using Revit
• Develop electrical Revit families and custom electrical components
• Prepare single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection schedules, and panel schedules
• Design and coordinate MCCs, switchboards, panelboards, PDUs, CDUs, PLC systems, and fire alarm systems
• Supporting Engineering and Construction Contractors on an as needed basis
• Supporting Operations and Maintenance as a technical resource when needed
• Maintains and applies company instrumentation design criteria and specifications and industry standards
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses instrumentation related issues including electrical, mechanical, and computer controlled systems
