Job summary

AllSTEM Connections is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer for a remote, direct-hire position. You will design electrical power and lighting systems for data centers, industrial, and commercial facilities, and coordinate with managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate has 4–6+ years of electrical design experience, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and/or Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–6+ years of electrical design experience in commercial, industrial, or data center settings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD MEP and/or Revit; knowledge of ETAP/SKM is a plus.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and model electrical power and lighting systems for commercial, industrial, and data center facilities.
• Prepare and coordinate electrical design drawings, documentation, calculations, and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, lead engineers, construction teams, and external design partners.
• Support construction-related troubleshooting, commissioning, and technical coordination.
• Develop and maintain design documentation per applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with CAD/VDC teams and ensure QA/QC processes are followed.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team development.
