Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC programs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) for industrial automation systems.
• Create and configure HMI/SCADA systems for effective operator interaction and process monitoring.
• Specify and select electrical components, sensors, actuators, and control hardware.
• Develop electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
• Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of automated control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues remotely or through site visits when necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and clients to define system requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain and update control system documentation, including programming code, logic diagrams, and manuals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in control system design.
• Stay current with advancements in automation technology and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in industrial electrical controls engineering and automation.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., RSLogix, TIA Portal) and HMI/SCADA development (e.g., FactoryTalk View, Wonderware).
• Strong understanding of electrical hardware, instrumentation, and control system architecture.
• Experience with various communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
