Colorado Springs Cardiology is seeking an EKG Technician to perform and analyze EKG tests, prepare patients, and educate them about the procedure. The role requires independence and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time in Colorado Springs, with a remote work aspect tied to reporting to the office 6:30 am - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and involves handling EKG equipment and monitoring readings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current certification as an EKG Technician is required.
• Ability to read and interpret EKG tracings.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKG tests on patients as requested by physicians.
• Analyze test results and provide reports to physicians.
• Set up and maintain EKG equipment.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of EKG tests.
• Prepare patients for EKG tests.
• Educate patients and families about the EKG process.
• Operate EKG machines, monitor and interpret readings.
• Coordinate with medical staff for necessary assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the exam room.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
• Handle Cardiac Holter and Mobile Telemetry monitors.
