Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. seeks a proactive Site Safety (EHS) Representative to join the Project Execution Team for the world’s largest battery energy storage project.

This remote role focuses on ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations and maintaining a safe work environment across the project site. You will conduct audits, perform risk assessments, develop safety protocols, and deliver site-specific orientation for all staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Public Health or related field.
• OSHA 30 Certification and NFPA 70e Certification.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• OSHA Outreach Trainer, EMT, NEBOSH or similar certifications.
• CHST, CSP, CIH and/or CHMM certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular audits to verify compliance and recommend improvements.
• Perform risk assessments to identify hazards and implement controls.
• Develop and maintain risk management plans and safety protocols.
• Design and deliver site-specific orientation training for all staff.
• Promote safety and environmental responsibility across the site.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and update emergency response plans and conduct drills.
• Oversee waste management, pollution prevention, and hazardous materials handling.
• Maintain records of EHS activities and prepare management reports.
• Lead initiatives to improve EHS performance and adopt new practices.
• Stay updated with changes in EHS laws.
