Job summary

Ethos is seeking environmental health and safety professionals with 4+ years of experience to help train AI on professional environmental tasks. The role involves creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows such as impact assessments, biodiversity summaries, and regulatory submissions.

The position is fully remote with flexible 5-20 hours per week and starts ASAP.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in ecological research, environmental consulting, or applied biology.
• Experience interpreting field and lab data and translating into reports for regulators or clients.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated environmental documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Support environmental impact assessment reports, biodiversity survey summaries, water/soil data sheets, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with the AI lab to train language models on professional environmental tasks.
