Harvard University’s Center for Education Policy Research (CEPR) seeks a Data Scientist to advance the M-Powering Teacher Coaching project, applying machine-learning and AI to education research and coaching tools.

You will organize data, develop reproducible workflows, and collaborate with educators, researchers, and external partners, with a remote work arrangement and a one-year term.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Education, Social Science, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in data science, statistics, machine learning, educational research, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Organizes, cleans, and prepares structured and unstructured data for AI modeling and analysis.
• Develops and documents codebooks, annotation protocols, and data dictionaries.
• Builds reproducible workflows for data processing, analysis, and modeling.
• Applies statistical, machine learning, NLP, and generative AI methods as appropriate.
• Coordinates development and evaluation of automated measures related to teaching and coaching.
• Supports pilot studies and evaluation activities.
