The Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University (CEPR) is seeking a Data Scientist to lead data analysis, ML and NLP projects that connect education research with practical tools for teachers and leaders.

You will organize large structured and unstructured data, develop reproducible workflows, and contribute to product development and dissemination of research outputs. This is a fully remote, one-year term with potential continuation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in a quantitative field with research focus.
• Experience in data science, statistical programming, ML, or education research.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, cleans, and prepares data for AI modeling and analysis.
• Develops data dictionaries, annotation protocols, and research procedures.
• Builds reproducible workflows for data processing, analysis, and modeling.
• Maintains data documentation and analytic records.
