Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Edifecs Application Engineer to administer, configure, and optimize the Edifecs platform for VA operations in a remote setting. You will ensure reliable and compliant EDI processing and leverage Edifecs XEServer, XEngine, TPM, SpecBuilder, and EDI Gateway, alongside AWS cloud services and CI/CD tooling.

The role requires strong communication with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps, Cloud teams, and business stakeholders, plus a track record of building

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Edifecs architecture and transaction lifecycles.
Hands-on experience with Edifecs XEServer, XEngine, TPM, SpecBuilder, and EDI Gateway.
Experience with AWS cloud environments.
Proficient communication and stakeholder engagement.
Experience with API-based integrations and gateway services.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform, ensuring reliable and compliant EDI transaction processing
Configure and maintain XEServer, XEngine, TPM, SpecBuilder, and related modules
Build, deploy, and optimize Edifecs processing rules, routing logic, and batch workflows
Analyze and resolve mapping issues, validation failures, functional errors, and performance bottlenecks
Manage system logging, JVM tuning, and certificate/keystore configurations
Support release deployments, environment refreshes, patching, and upgrades
Collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps Engineers, Cloud teams, and business teams
