Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Edifecs Application Engineer to support VA programs in a remote capacity. The role focuses on Edifecs architecture, AWS cloud environments, and collaborating with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps, Cloud teams, and business stakeholders.

Applicants should bring 8+ years in EDI or enterprise operations, extensive Edifecs experience across XEServer, XEngine, TPM, and SpecBuilder, and strong communication skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

EDIFECS architecture knowledge and transaction lifecycles
8+ years in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise ops
8+ years in software or data engineering with strong AWS experience
Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform for reliable EDI processing
Configure and maintain Edifecs modules (XEServer, XEngine, TPM, SpecBuilder)
Build, deploy, and optimize Edifecs processing rules and batch workflows
Analyze and resolve mapping issues, validation failures, and performance bottlenecks
Manage JVM tuning, logging, and keystore configurations
Support releases, environment refreshes, and upgrades
Collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps, Cloud teams, and business users
