Job summary

Claim.MD is hiring an EDI Connection Manager to oversee payer connectivity, monitor EDI transactions, and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and external partners. You will ensure secure data exchange and maintain auditable records across the EDI environment.

You will work on connectivity methods including SFTP, APIs, VPNs, and secure web services, while aligning with HIPAA and PHI protections. This is a remote role with a 32-hour workweek and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Understanding of clearinghouse workflows and payer-provider transaction processes.
• Experience with healthcare EDI connectivity technologies (SFTP, APIs, VPNs, secure web services).
• Knowledge of 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277 EDI standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain visibility into payer EDI connections (claims, ERA, eligibility).
• Coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation of connections and status.
• Coordinate readiness for new payer connections and routing updates.
• Assist in validating new connection configurations before production.
