Job summary

MetroPlus Information Technology Department has an immediate opening for an EDI Software Developer on the EDI development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for BizTalk administration and BizTalk Application development.

The role involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting HIPAA EDI transactions, implementing trading partner agreements, and collaborating with analysts and project managers to meet business requirements. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
• 5+ years of BizTalk experience including administration and deployment.
• Experience with HIPAA EDI ANSI X.12, HL7 is required.
• Strong SQL Server, SSIS, and XML/JSON skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and administer BizTalk EDI environment.
• Design and maintain BizTalk applications and EDI maps.
• Test, maintain, and support HIPAA EDI transactions.
• Implement Companion Guides and Trading Partner Agreements.
• Troubleshoot BizTalk and EDI issues and support operations.
• Collaborate with analysts and PMs to implement business requirements.
• Develop DLL and API modules to support EDI processes.
• Ensure data integrity and security in EDI transactions.
• Document system procedures and stay updated on trends.
