Job summary

Binance is seeking an experienced EDD professional in the United States to perform enhanced due diligence on high-risk customers, assess transactions, and lead EDD initiatives. You will stay current with FATF standards and coordinate with overseas partners to ensure regulatory alignment.

You will draft guidance, training materials, and policies while managing escalations and providing subject matter expertise across AML/CFT and sanctions risks in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EDD experience.
• ACAMS, ACFCS or other industry leading certification.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin required to coordinate with overseas partners.
• Knowledge of global CDD/EDD requirements.
• Deep understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions risks.
• Knowledge of global licensing requirements for financial services and crypto.
• Experience with complex beneficial ownership structures.
• Excellent communication, analytical and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete EDD reviews for high risk customers.
• Assess high-risk customer transaction activity for business alignment.
• Conduct risk assessments on new and existing customers.
• Lead projects related to EDD enhancements.
• Remain current on FATF standards and local requirements.
• Provide AML/CFT subject matter expertise.
• Manage high risk escalations from the first line of defence.
• Draft policies, programs, procedures and training materials.
• Train other employees.
