Job summary

Alignerr is seeking experienced postsecondary Economics instructors to help train and evaluate AI systems that reason about markets and policy. You will design questions, review AI-generated content, and provide expert feedback based on real classroom experience.

The role is remote, hourly/task-based, and offers flexible scheduling with 10–40 hours per week. A strong postsecondary economics background and clear written communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time economics teaching at the postsecondary level.
• Strong command of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied economics.
• Able to clearly explain and critically evaluate economic reasoning in written form.
• Comfortable reviewing structured content and delivering detailed, actionable feedback.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and review economics questions and scenarios used to train AI systems
• Assess the accuracy, clarity, and conceptual depth of AI-generated economics content
• Provide structured, expert feedback to improve economic reasoning in model outputs
• Apply real-world teaching experience to validate concepts, identify edge cases, and flag errors
• Work independently and asynchronously — on your schedule
