Role Description

The ECG Over Reading Cardiologist is responsible for interpreting and over-reading ECG tracings generated by Nasiff Associates, Inc. systems to ensure diagnostic accuracy and consistency. This full-time, on-site role is based in Central Square, NY but is remote and global and involves reviewing ECGs for rhythm analysis, conduction abnormalities, ischemic changes, and other pertinent cardiac findings. The cardiologist will document clear, concise, and clinically relevant reports, provide recommendations as needed, and adhere to established clinical and company protocols. Daily tasks include collaborating with technical and clinical staff, maintaining high turnaround times for ECG interpretations, and participating in quality assurance activities. The role may also involve contributing to protocol development, offering clinical feedback on products, and supporting training or educational efforts related to ECG interpretation.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology, with demonstrated expertise in ECG interpretation and over-reading.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the applicable jurisdiction, with eligibility to practice in New York.
• Extensive experience in reviewing standard and advanced ECGs, including recognition of arrhythmias, ischemia, conduction disorders, and complex tracings.
• Strong attention to detail, clinical judgment, and commitment to patient safety and diagnostic accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including technical, clinical, and administrative staff.
• Proficiency with digital ECG systems, electronic medical records, and related clinical software; comfort with learning new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to generate clear, concise, and actionable reports.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards in clinical practice.
• Prior experience in an over-reading, telecardiology, or diagnostic cardiology role is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site in Central Square, NY and maintain consistent full-time availability.
