Job summary

RhythMedix, Inc. in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a technical professional to review and analyze wirelessly transmitted ECGs, notify physicians of urgent events, and prepare reports for interpretation by clinicians.

You will support physicians and patients by addressing questions about monitoring status, managing shifts, and handling the event queue. A High School diploma, ECG technician certification, and CRAT/CCT credentials are preferred; strong communication and tech comfort are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from an accredited training school for MA/ECG technician or better preferred.
• CRAT and/or CCT certified.
• ECG analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze wirelessly transmitted Electrocardiograms (ECG)
• Notify the prescribing physician of any ECG events meeting preset urgent/emergent notification criteria
• Create various reports that will be forwarded onto physicians for professional interpretation
• Assist physicians with any questions about their patients monitoring status and/or requests for additional ECG.
• Assist patients with questions about their monitoring equipment and related study
• Assist with management of assigned shift
• Management of the event queue
• Additional responsibilities as deemed appropriate by management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
