Job summary

American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) in Falls Church, VA seeks an eLearning Associate to design, develop, and deliver online learning products for OHS professionals. You will collaborate with SMEs, manage content, and ensure alignment with adult learning principles.

Responsibilities span ADDIE/SAM-based development, LMS/SCORM packaging, scriptwriting for audio/video, and project coordination with volunteer experts. Remote-friendly, full-time role to advance AIHA’s eLearning portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 2 years in an association or nonprofit environment.
• 3–5 years in education program design, development, delivery and evaluation.
• Experience authoring eLearning content and developing scenarios.
• Experience scripting audio and video content.
• Experience with LMS/SCORM packaging, testing, and uploading courses.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and author effective eLearning products for OHS professionals.
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify knowledge gaps and learning objectives.
• Create prototypes, storyboards, and design documentation.
• Apply ADDIE, SAM, and design thinking to projects.
• Coordinate with volunteers and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.
• Analyze learner feedback and data to improve programs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent

Master’s degree in adult education / instructional design preferred
