Job summary

Scion Technology is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Systems Engineer to join a nonprofit client in Virginia on a contract basis with a fully remote setup and preferred EST/CST hours. You will partner with leadership to shape technology strategy, manage the MSP relationship, and ensure secure, well-documented operations across Microsoft 365, Dynamics, and integrations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Experience as an internal technology owner or senior partner in a small to mid-sized organization.
• Strong Microsoft 365 experience and familiarity with cloud-based environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot, including integrations and data flows.
• Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, identity/SSO, and interconnected applications.
• Experience managing or coordinating an outsourced IT service provider/MSP, and vendors.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integrity across multiple systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, access management, endpoint security, backup/recovery, and business continuity is a plus.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills; able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to establish technology priorities, strategy, roadmap, and operating practices.
• Oversee the technology ecosystem including Microsoft 365, Dynamics, HubSpot, and cloud services.
• Manage the relationship with the outsourced MSP, defining support, escalation, maintenance, security, and projects.
• Oversee integrations, APIs, identity/SSO, and data flows between business applications.
• Lead data governance and data integrity initiatives.
• Collaborate with MSP on cybersecurity, access management, incident response, backup, and business continuity.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on systems, architecture, integrations, vendors, and processes.
