Job summary

Franklin Covey Japan Co Ltd in Tokyo is seeking a part-time DTP Operator for the Delivery Excellence Team. You will create and format print materials using InDesign, Illustrator, Word and PowerPoint, and may localize US English content. The role supports documents from text sheets to books, with English translation handled externally.

Remote work is available with 2 days in the office. Preferred candidates have 5+ years of InDesign experience, good knowledge of Illustrator, PowerPoint, Word, and

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in InDesign related work.
• Independently handle master pages to proofreading for a ~200-page book in InDesign including Illustrator tasks.
• Basic proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Basic proficiency in Windows and Mac.

Responsibilities

• Create print materials including PDFs such as textbooks and worksheets, and slide presentations.
• Localize data from US HQ in English using InDesign or format documents in Word/PowerPoint.
• Self-manage document formatting from scratch in InDesign or similar software.
• Support production workflows for materials ranging from business cards to ~200-page textbooks.
