Job summary

The contractor will implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, configure Drupal sites, and ensure accessibility, security, and responsive design across devices. Responsibilities also include maintaining content and coordinating with IT and content teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Drupal development and administration.
• Proficiency in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Drupal Search API and Apache Solr.

Responsibilities

• Support the redesign and enhancement of the website home page.
• Develop and implement front-end functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
• Develop, configure, and optimize Drupal websites and applications.
• Improve website search functionality using Drupal Search API and Apache Solr.
• Configure search indexing, search results, filters, and content retrieval.
• Manage and update website content through the Drupal CMS, including text, images, multimedia, and related content.
• Ensure website content is accurate, consistent, timely, and appropriately structured.
• Implement accessible web content and functionality consistent with WCAG accessibility standards.
• Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces across desktop and mobile devices.
• Implement links and integrations connecting users to relevant State, Federal, Local, and other government agency resources.
• Maintain Drupal software and related components through updates, patches, and security maintenance.
• Support website security practices, including SSL/TLS, access controls, firewalls, vulnerability monitoring, and malware prevention.
• Troubleshoot website functionality, server configuration, performance, and user-access issues.
• Work with IT teams, vendors, content teams, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor website performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and production releases.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation and website configuration information.
