Qualifications

• 5+ years of web development, front-end engineering, and CMS administration.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
• Hands-on with Drupal and Solr search configuration and optimization.
• Experience with WCAG compliance, website security, and hosting environments.
• Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience supporting public sector or government sites.

Responsibilities

• Redesign the homepage using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern front-end tech.
• Enhance site search capabilities with Drupal/Solr integrations.
• Troubleshoot website functionality, server configs, and access with IT and vendors.
• Manage and update content via the Drupal CMS platform.
• Ensure accessibility WCAG compliance and content accuracy.
• Implement and monitor security best practices (SSL/TLS, firewalls).
• Keep plugins/themes updated and monitor for vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with inter-department teams and external partners.
