Job summary

Promet Source, a global web and mobile development company with offices in Chicago, is seeking a US-based, part-time QA employee to join our remote team on an as-needed basis. The QA role focuses on leading quality reviews using manual testing and test automation tools, with 10–20 hours per week and an hourly pay of $30–$40.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to pass fingerprinting and DOI clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA working experience.
• Experience in testing various applications, services and user interfaces.
• Understanding of test driven development.
• Understanding of SDLC and QA best practices.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall processes.
• Understanding of user interface design.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Follow manual and automated testing best practices across the development lifecycle.
• Work with an Agile team to prepare QA strategies, plans, and test scenarios based on requirements.
• Ensure that functional requirements are translated into high-quality, working components.
• Raise quality issues, track progress, and validate resolutions.
• Manage metrics and quality reports for stakeholders.
• Validate the quality of technical artifacts before delivery.
• Participate in client meetings and workshops as required.
• Estimate effort to deliver requirements.
• Report blockers and collaborate to resolve.
