Job summary

Revolutional is seeking an experienced Drupal Architect/Developer to design, secure, and deploy the Drupal 11 CMS backend for a federal agency website. You will work with the AWS GovCloud hosting environment and a modern React/Next.js frontend to deliver a scalable, accessible platform.

The role collaborates with cloud, security, content teams, and agency stakeholders to implement infrastructure, secure connections, and DevSecOps practices that ensure production readiness and regulatory

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain Federal Public Trust clearance.
• 7+ years of Drupal development, architecture and deployments.
• Direct experience with Drupal 11 in AWS GovCloud or similar regulated cloud.
• Strong PHP, Symfony, Twig, and Drupal API expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the Drupal 11 CMS architecture for a public-facing site.
• Configure content types, taxonomies, workflows, permissions, and publishing.
• Develop custom Drupal modules, services, and integrations.
• Secure APIs (JSON:API, GraphQL) for React/Next.js frontend.
• Define backup, logging, monitoring, and disaster-recovery requirements.
• Mentor Drupal developers and promote secure, reusable solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release procedures.
