Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain pre-authorizations for physician orders as required.
• Communicate with physicians about reimbursement and pre-certification requirements.
• Coordinate with Patient Accounting within mandated timeframes.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in EMR and patient management systems.
• Educate patients about insurance coverage and potential out-of-pocket costs.
• Provide financial counseling and assistance referrals.
• Assist with indigent drug treatment plans.
• Ensure coverage for treatment dates.
