Job summary

Gulf Winds International, Inc. is seeking a Driver Recruiter to attract and qualify professional truck drivers, with emphasis on owner-operators and intermodal experience. This remote, full-time role develops market-specific recruiting strategies and manages the applicant pipeline.

You will partner with Operations and Marketing/Drive teams to align capacity and retention goals, ensuring a smooth hiring process from initial contact to onboarding, while promoting company culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of truck driver recruiting experience.
• 6+ months Tenstreet experience.
• Intermodal/drayage or transportation industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruiting strategies by market to maintain a robust driver pipeline.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting: source, screen, interview, run reports, documentation, and drug screens.
• Leverage Tenstreet and other platforms to track, process, and qualify candidates.
• Utilize social media, events, and advertising to expand driver leads and applications.
• Maintain market knowledge on pay structures, trends, and recruiting strategies.
• Collaborate with Operations to align hiring with capacity and retention goals.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA/DOT during qualification and hiring.
