Job summary

Vay in Las Vegas is seeking a Teledriver to remotely operate vehicles from a driving station and support the rollout of autonomous mobility on public streets.

You will join a fast-growing team, work in-office in Las Vegas, and help launch and scale the Remote Driving program while delivering strong customer service. The role pays between $18 and $25 per hour, with potential for growth as operations expand.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean US driver's license and 2+ years of professional driving.
• Able to pass a drug test, including THC.
• Comfortable with morning or evening shifts in Las Vegas (in-office).
• Tech‑savvy with digital interfaces and devices.
• Experience supporting customer interactions during service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Remotely operate vehicles from a driving station to customers or within the local service area.
• Act as a Safety or Teledriver for vehicle testing per protocols.
• Deliver excellent customer service in interactions with Vay users.
• Support engineering teams with data collection, feedback, and test reports.
• Assist with fleet and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

What you'll be driving

• Remotely operate vehicles from a driving station to customers or within the local service area
• Act as a Safety or Teledriver for vehicle testing, following set protocols
• Deliver exceptional customer service in interactions with Vay users
• Support engineering teams with data collection, feedback, and test reports
• Pitch in with fleet and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and great user experiences

What are we looking for

• A safe and responsible driver with a clean US license and at least 2 years of professional driving experience (Uber, Lyft, taxi, etc.)
• Comfortable working morning or evening shifts (5:30 AM to 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM to 10 PM, 5 days per week, in-office in Las Vegas)
• Able to pass a drug test, including THC
• Tech-savvy: ideally with gaming experience or high comfort with digital interfaces
• Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure with a troubleshooting mindset
• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Passionate about the future of autonomous vehicles and urban mobility
