Job summary

Enjoin is seeking a DRG Integrity Analyst to perform initial chart screening for inpatient encounters, identifying DRG opportunities and risks in a fast-paced, remote setting. The role requires strong DRG methodology knowledge, coding screening experience, and attention to detail to support accurate, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• CCS/RHIT/RHIA/CDIP/CCDS credentials required
• Minimum 2 years inpatient coding experience
• Knowledge of MS-DRG methodology and coding guidelines

Responsibilities

• Perform initial screening of inpatient charts to identify DRG opportunities and risks
• Conduct high-level clinical and coding assessments focused on principal diagnosis, CC/MCCs, and sequencing
• Identify documentation gaps and coding misalignment impacting DRG assignment
• Triage and elevate validated opportunities to CCAs for deeper review
• Apply standardized screening workflows to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Document screening decisions and rationale for audit defensibility
• Maintain productivity and quality in a high-volume review environment
• Collaborate with CCAs and leadership on best practices and workflow improvements
• Identify trends, risks, and process gaps to support continuous improvement initiatives
