Job summary

Answers in Genesis is seeking a Donor Relations Officer to grow relationships with existing and prospective major donors and strategic partners. You will align donor opportunities with AiG's mission and ensure regular, personalized engagement in support of God’s work.

The role emphasizes a SERVE-driven approach, with goals to expand regional partnerships, present ministry funding opportunities, and coordinate donor events and communications.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability in developing and maintaining positive relationships with people of varying backgrounds and ages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to review and analyze data, conduct relevant research, and engage in strategic planning with respect to Advancement.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
• Establish, manage, and fulfill donor engagement plans and strategies.
• Maintain caseloads and meet monthly and annual activity targets with purposeful visits and communications.
• Collaborate with Advancement team to develop funding opportunities and donor materials.
• Document donor interactions thoroughly in the CRM and follow up as needed.
