Job summary

MDS Communications is seeking an entry-level Communication Specialist in Texas. You will work with donor communications and fundraising programs, calling multiple clients with a scripted approach to secure gifts and support for our nonprofit partners.

You will receive training and work on a team with potential for growth in a faith-based, mission-driven environment. A quiet home workspace and reliable internet are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of outbound telemarketing experience or a strong general employment record with long term stability.
• Dedicated wired internet connection.
• A quiet place to work at home free from normal household interruptions.
• Basic computer skills.
• A commitment and enthusiasm to charitable and non-profit causes.
• Willingness to learn and persistence.

Responsibilities

• Receive in-depth training.
• Be assigned to one of four MDS Teams that calls on behalf of a set of clients.
• Call for 4-8 different clients over the course of an 8 hour day using predictive dialing.
• Communicate with donors and prospective donors in a positive, engaging manner using a scripted approach.
• Secure financial gifts for clients.
• Maintain minimum fundraising and productivity metrics.
