Job summary

PMdigital.ai is seeking a Database Engineer to sustain MEDXS databases behind the Waiver Management System and analytics dashboards. The role focuses on keeping DoD healthcare data highly available, secure, and recoverable across cloud, web, and Windows environments.

The candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience with Oracle/SQL databases, and hold a Secret clearance. Occasional travel to hosting facilities, DHA locations, and OCONUS sites is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of directly relevant experience.
• Experience configuring and maintaining Oracle, SQL databases in cloud-based, web-based, Windows environments.
• Experience managing large-scale, highly available DoD healthcare databases.
• OCONUS readiness and SPOT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Oracle, SQL databases in cloud-based, web-based and Windows environments.
• Maintain highly available DoD healthcare databases with performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Run back ups, recovery, and data integrity audits.
• Apply patches and updates in test before production.
• Support security scans, RMF documentation for ATO/ATC.
• Assist data feeds and integrations behind analytics dashboards.
• Analyze and resolve database-related trouble reports.
