BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Internal Document Review Attorney for a Workers' Compensation practice in Burbank, CA. This remote role requires active California State Bar membership and JD, with 1–3+ years of legal experience.

You will conduct thorough review of case files, medical records, and discovery responses, draft concise summaries, support litigation strategy, and collaborate with trial teams while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership required.
• 1–3+ years of legal experience; Workers' Compensation law preferred.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents efficiently.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of case files, discovery responses, medical records, and other litigation-related documents.
• Identify relevant facts and key issues to support trial attorneys in hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
• Draft concise case summaries and recommendations for litigation strategy.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in internal case documentation and legal records.
• Collaborate with trial representatives, paralegals, and managing attorneys for effective case preparation.
• Assist in the preparation of exhibits and supporting documentation for trial.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in handling client information.
