Job summary

Batteries Plus is seeking a District Sales and Operations Manager to oversee a multi-store district of corporate-owned stores, driving sales performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. This remote role is based in the Columbus, Ohio area, central to the region, with travel up to 90% and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

You will develop teams, coach store managers, and partner with HR and leadership to achieve budgeting goals and high performance across the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience; multi-location experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 90% and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store teams to deliver exceptional customer service and operational standards.
• Coach performance metrics and succession planning with HR and senior leadership.
• Mentor Store Managers to build future leadership talent.
• Analyze P&L and develop action plans for increased profitability and efficiency.
• Oversee recruiting and staffing during openings or transitions.
• Conduct store visits, track progress, and address issues promptly.
• Roll out new programs, tools, and hands-on training.
