Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a District Sales Manager for the Greater St. Louis Territory.

This remote, field-based role leads a team of 4–6 sales representatives, coaches and motivates them to achieve territory targets while delivering exceptional customer service. You will spend much of the week in the field with reps, with 1–2 days remote, and you will collaborate with the Director of Sales to execute plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years of successful foodservice sales or management experience.
• Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Must reside within the assigned territory and be able to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of 4-6 sales representatives within a designated territory.
• Spend 3-4 days per week in the field riding along with reps, meeting customers and prospects.
• Coach and develop sales reps to achieve individual and team sales goals.
• Act as a liaison between sales reps and clients to close deals and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute territory sales plans and objectives.
• Balance field activity with 1-2 days per week working remotely from a home office.
