Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned Distributed Systems Architect to lead the design of large-scale microservices on cloud-native stacks. The role emphasizes service decomposition, domain-driven design, and resilience at scale.

You will guide architectural decisions across multiple teams and ensure maintainability of the estate over the long term. The position is 100% remote within the United States, offering a salary range of $130,000–$160,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Eight or more years of software engineering experience, with architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in microservices design, domain-driven design, and distributed systems patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, or C#.
• Strong understanding of API design, event‑driven architectures, and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience operating high‑traffic, latency‑sensitive systems in production.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and managed services across at least one major provider.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture initiatives spanning multiple teams.
