AutoRABIT is seeking a Distinguished Engineer (IC-7) to shape the long-term technical direction of our Salesforce-focused SaaS platform. You will write production code, lead complex AI initiatives, and set engineering standards across distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and security-focused practices.

You will mentor senior engineers, influence executive stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes by turning innovation into reliable production capabilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering complex enterprise software products and platforms.
• Proven experience as Distinguished Engineer / Principal Engineer / Staff Engineer / Chief Architect or equivalent IC.
• Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, reliable enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Led major technical initiatives across multiple teams or product areas.
• Proven experience delivering AI powered software in production.
• Strong experience with AI assisted software development tools and modern AI workflows.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, MCP, or similar AI frameworks.
• Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) with distributed systems and AI integration.
• CI/CD, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, containers, and IaC.
• Security, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Ability to resolve highly complex production issues.
• Influenced architectural direction and technical standards across teams.
• Mentored senior technical contributors and elevated engineering capabilities.
• Excellent communication with executive and technical stakeholders.
• Track record translating technical innovation into measurable outcomes.
• Leadership through major engineering contributions, open source, patents or recognized work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as AutoRABIT's most senior technical authority, guiding engineering strategy across products and teams.
• Define long term technical direction, architectural principles, and engineering standards.
• Solve complex technical challenges spanning multiple products and platforms.
• Partner with VP Engineering, CTO, and leaders to align investments with business priorities.
• Lead AI initiatives and deliver AI powered capabilities and automation.
• Architect and write production-grade code, prototype solutions, and reference implementations.
• Mentor engineers and lead critical engineering initiatives with hands-on involvement.
• Drive CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud native platforms, and scalable, secure architectures.
• Improve platform performance, resilience, observability, and operational efficiency.
• Establish reusable patterns, frameworks, and technical standards.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Promote collaboration and ownership across globally distributed teams.
