Job summary

AutoRABIT is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (IC-6) to join its global Engineering org. This hands-on role focuses on Java, AI-enabled development, and delivering enterprise-scale software.

You will mentor engineers, influence technical strategy, and ensure production-grade solutions across cloud-native architectures, microservices, and CI/CD in a remote US-based environment. Candidates must bring 15+ years of experience, deep Java expertise, and a track record of AI-powered product

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering enterprise scale applications.
• Expert level proficiency in Java, modern software engineering practices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Spring Boot, APIs, microservices, cloud-native development, and enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on experience using AI assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Experience building AI powered software products or developer productivity solutions.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, MCP, or similar AI tech.
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure and modern cloud architectures.
• CI/CD, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, containers, IaC experience.
• Experience in enterprise SaaS, preferably Salesforce ecosystem, and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leader across engineering teams and product initiatives.
• Influence architectural direction while remaining hands-on in development.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, reliable enterprise software solutions.
• Mentor engineers on responsible AI adoption and modern development practices.
• Prototype and evaluate AI technologies to strengthen AutoRABIT's platform.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, Architecture, and DevOps teams.
• Translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
• Foster accountability, curiosity, collaboration, and execution.
