Job summary

Centene seeks a Director, Strategic Initiatives to drive high‑impact initiatives within Provider Data Operations. You translate strategy into actionable plans and align business and technology partners through complex dependencies.

You will lead initiatives from concept through implementation, building strong cross-functional relationships and delivering measurable outcomes through effective change leadership and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in developing and implementing new business strategies.
• 5+ years of experience in working in a managed care environment.
• Strong financial and analytical background.

Responsibilities

• Directs the strategic planning process and establishes key deliverables.
• Builds cross-functional relationships with internal departments to implement business strategies.
• Provides project management for implementation of key initiatives and driving critical projects.
• Interacts with business leaders to carry out key projects and drive strategic initiatives.
• Advises senior management on key strategic and tactical decisions.
