Job summary

The Community Preservation Corporation is seeking a Director/Sr. Director of Portfolio Asset Management to oversee CPC’s multifamily loan portfolio and risk framework.

You will lead Managers and Asset Managers, ensuring disciplined credit oversight, proactive risk identification, and strategic execution across portfolio segments. Collaborate with borrowers, guarantors, government agencies, and Agency partners to preserve asset value while driving CPC’s mission of expanding affordable housing and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of multifamily real estate asset management experience including agency and banking products, LIHTC and affordable housing.
• Ability to communicate complex credit and risk matters to senior leadership and prepare executive materials.
• Proven experience leading and developing asset management teams with strong analytical and financial skills.
• Deep understanding of loan documentation, servicing agreements, and post-closing asset management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset management strategy across multifamily, affordable housing, and LIHTC portfolios.
• Provide oversight of performing assets, maintain strong credit discipline, and escalate risks.
• Serve as primary contact for investors, borrowers, and internal stakeholders with clear communication.
• Present portfolio performance and risks to Senior Leadership through executive-ready materials and presentations.
