Job summary

Novartis invites an experienced Director to lead Intelligence Planning & Execution for the US Insights & Analytics organization. You will steer strategic planning, governance, and portfolio management while coordinating with HYD leadership and partner I&A teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of enterprise objectives.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, roadmap integration, and organizational performance measurement in a global operating model, with travel as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in strategy, portfolio management, business operations, transformation, analytics, consulting, program management, or related disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in Business, Analytics, Strategy, Organizational Leadership, Operations, Management, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
• Experience leading strategic planning, governance, prioritization, performance management, or execution-management initiatives.
• Strong track record supporting senior leaders and driving cross-functional alignment.
• Experience managing strategic portfolios, integrated roadmaps, organizational priorities, and performance management frameworks.
• Experience leading transformation, operating model, organizational effectiveness, or change initiatives.
• Experience working within matrixed organizations and global operating models.
• Experience managing executive communications, performance reporting, and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, planning, portfolio management, and organizational performance for the Director, Intelligence Planning & Execution.
• Own strategic planning, integrated portfolio management, and resource scheduling across the organization.
• Ensure priorities, investments, and roadmaps stay aligned across capability areas.
• Serve as portfolio, planning, and governance interface between DI&A Capabilities and senior leadership for capacity management and execution.
• Coordinate across analytics, business, technology, and operations to ensure execution activities align with portfolio goals.
