Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking a Director of Strategic Finance to lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning from Hamilton, WA. The role supports the VP of FP&A, partners with the C-suite, and guides capital investment decisions in a manufacturing environment with DoD concerns.

The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling, executive presence, and a proactive, data-driven mindset to drive strategic outcomes and risk/opportunity identification.

Qualifications

• MBA in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required.
• CPA or CFA certification preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or financial/operational consulting.
• Background in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Understanding of FAR and DCAA compliance beneficial.
• Knowledge of government Cost Accounting Standards beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own all financial modeling and analytical frameworks end to end, including budgeting, forecasting, capex, and long-range planning.
• Structure ambiguous problems, model them, and present actionable insights.
• Serve as primary financial thought partner to the C-suite and senior leadership.
• Pressure-test assumptions and bring structure to incomplete data.
• Direct annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes.
• Lead financial analyses for capital investments and strategic initiatives.
