Job summary

BlueSprig seeks a Director of Payer Relations and Contracting to lead end-to-end payer contracting across a defined region of its ABA centers. You will manage the full lifecycle of commercial and Medicaid agreements—from strategy and targeting through negotiation and execution to implementation and performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Public Policy, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in managed care contracting, payer relations, or growth functions within healthcare; behavioral health or ABA experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success negotiating commercial and/or Medicaid agreements, including complex reimbursement and performance-based structures.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with rate modeling, scenario analysis, and interpretation of claims data.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional contracting strategy and execution, owning the full contracting lifecycle for assigned payers and markets.
• Maintain oversight of contracts, terms, and value-based components; track performance with analytics.
• Manage payer relationships, conduct regular business reviews, and address operational issues and new program opportunities.
• Align with Operations and Growth to support site openings, expansions, and payer participation during ramp-up.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure regulatory alignment and clear internal guidance for regions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Public Policy, or related field
